Patchett's writing is delightful. Most of the essays are short and quite interesting.

I like this book. I liked the colorful cars and I like the two dogs who became friends in the end. My Grandma used to read this book to me when I was a baby and now I can read it myself!

Such a good book about heaven. I truly think it will help children understand death in a gentle way

The story was really inspiring. It shows the true pain of the Nazis, and World War II. Especially with Michael ( the main character) being a secret undercover spy. And evolving to a SRD member. He learns to keep a fake character in front of the Nazis and learns to never break character or reveal to anyone his secret. While he also has to deal with sacrificing Simon and his parents to the Nazis the story teaches me to never underestimate possibility and eventually you have to face the bully.
