I love David Baldacci’s books, and this one didn’t disappoint! He has written over 50 books; mists are series. I loved The Memory Man Series and John Puller Series. This book is one of his standalone books. I do enjoy those series and really getting to know a main character!! I could see how this could lead to a series if he so chose to (please!). I don’t want to give anything away, but I will say that the protagonist is a tad unrealistic. Other than that, it unraveled quickly the last 100 pages.

Happy Pig Day by Mo Willems is all about pigs and Gerald feels left out. Piggie makes Gerald feel good again because Happy Pig Day is not just for pigs, it's for anyone! I liked this book because it's a special day.

This story is about Beth who married an evil man named Amos. Had a son Toby, took care of mean mother-in-law and was treated badly. She finally goes to love with her grandmother and grandfather and meets Tyler who falls in love with Beth. However Beth doesn't want to remarry and keeps sending single women to Tyler to date. She finally goes back to the in laws to find herself, to forgive them and she finds God and is able to love again....

I wanted the book to be more about the main character; however, over half the book was spent giving back history of his parents and grandparents…which could have been told in half the amount of time. Meh.

The book is mostly Dean telling stories of races. This book maybe a little boring for people who are not interested in running; but highly recommend for runners who need a boost of confidence to counting on their journey.
